今天偶然启发了一个多年让我闻之发指的问题的解决方案

话说某国的教育制度很死板，
教出来的学生都被冠上考试机器的难听名号
近几年来还画蛇添足地加入了所谓的＂道德教育＂课程

＂道德教育＂的考试制度就是要学生＂一字不漏＂地背诵多达８０多个所谓NILAI NILAI MURNI（涵养素质）
考试的时候再一字不漏地照搬出来回答问题
这个造就学生成为考试机器的制度当然行不通

今天我就想到了更加好的＂道德教育＂制度
先听我说完吧，反正也不是真的会实行

道德教育的根本，就是培养行事正直的下一代
而一个做事正直的人最关键原因是他拥有能明辨是非黑白
而要培养一个能够明辨是非的学生就需要灌输他们逻辑思考（CRITICAL THINKING）的教育

逻辑思考＞＞明辨是非＞＞做事正直＞＞道德教育

我们需要培养一个能够独立思考的下一代
人云亦云并不是我们想要的下一代

首先，让学生认识什么是逻辑思考
让学生学会什么话应该听从，什么话应该过滤，以防被欺骗

之后，使用民间的罪恶案例来做教材，
让学生明白时事，在了解真相之于，还能培养阅报的好习惯
更透彻地了解犯罪案件
让学生能够对各种犯罪和欺骗的手段做出抵抗和免疫

除外，还必须教导学生人性光明的一面
需要教导＂礼仪廉耻＂
通过故事来教导学生＂礼仪廉耻＂的重要性

另外，还需要培养学生健康的社交
和各种问题的存在和解决方案
让未来的社会结构能够更加健康

今天被SUBANG PARADE里面＂麦M包＂的服务生气死

我问套餐的气水可不可以换成咖啡，我弟弟顺便问换MILO（我们两人喉咙痛啊）？
她把两题当一题来回答说要把套餐的汽水换去咖啡和MILO要加１块
我和老弟很奇怪
为什么MILO和咖啡会酱贵
竟然会比汽水贵１块？！
市价汽水一杯RM１.５０，咖啡或茶一杯RM1.２０
难道茶的价格会贵过汽水１块？RM１.５０＋RM１＝RM２.５０？！！
还是汽水比茶便宜１块？RM１.２０－RM１＝RM０.２０？！！

之后越想越不对劲，找来MANAGER来问才知道原来这笨蛋服务生是脑生虫的！！（英文又差！！）

coffee_ping：＂换饮料要加钱？你可以问你的MANAGER确认下吗？＂
笨服务生：＂好啊！你问吧！＂（很串哦！！你认为自己对又如何？麻烦到MANAGER来就是你失职！！）
coffee_ping：＂MANAGER，把饮料换成咖啡或茶要加钱吗？＂
笨服务生插嘴：＂你刚才说咖啡！！＂（好象怕了的样子，呵呵，我明明有问咖啡的价格，现在没面子了吧，呵呵）
coffee_ping：＂我现在是问＇咖啡或茶！＇OK？＂（有点在骂小孩子的语气）
MANAGER才解释说换成MILO就要加１块，换成咖啡就不用加钱，那显然是她婆娘服务生脑生虫了！
MANAGER还奇怪为什么事情这么小会叫到她来

之后还发现他们的汉堡的肉片只有半片面包的大小，餐单上面明明还拍得那么大的说！！！！
怎么又薄又小？

嗯，原来SUBANG JAYA的MC DONALD是这么废的
我也不想要说那脑生虫的服务生是什么种族了
什么种族英文差自己的语言又搞不好？
过分自信但自己又没料到？
偏爱做不需要用脑的工导致自己脑残？
对咯，那些靠王帝养的人就是这么无能的了！

之后又有走过的臭小子随手拿了我的FRENCH FRIES（没问过你拿什么啊！！）

我也会朝这个方向去训练自己

内
１－心理素质（一个拳手必须要有争凶斗狠的心理，你打我一捶我要回你三捶的性质）
２－技术（一个好的技术能够让一个人打败理论上他打不赢的对手，我老师说＂不管黑猫白猫，能抓得了老鼠的都是好猫＂，虽然他说＂能打到人的就是好招＂但是我认为我的视野应该更加开阔＂有用处的招式都是好招＂）
３－准确性（打击要害，唯有攻击到要害的攻击才会有效）

外
１－耐打（越能耐打，代表对方越难打败你，而你越有机会打败对方）
２－体力（STAMINA，体力等于你打仗的本钱）
３－破坏力（你的攻势有多有效取决于你的能造成多少的伤害）
４－速度（抢得到先机，等于稳操胜卷）

比赛的哲学

我观看了朋友们参加的踢式拳击比赛
我领悟了一些东西，以下是我领悟出来的道理，
也许不成熟，但是我想和大众分享一下我的哲学

１－做好打长期战的打算
保留体力
在比赛的时候，面对着完全准备好的对手，想速战速决是错误的想法
就因为比赛不可能短期内结束，所以更要有打长期战的心理准备
体力的保留和拿捏要抓得很好，一次过用太多体力而导致后期陷入困境是不智的
而太过消极也不好，万一被压着打就得不偿失了

必须为打长期战做好准备，因为体力就是你打仗的本钱

２－王牌
一般训练有素的选手都会有自己的王牌或必杀技（擅长技巧）
而那王牌是自己制胜的关键

就以纸牌游戏＂锄大D＂来说
身为王牌的＂大D＂是不会做前锋上场的
太早上场只会打草惊蛇，
让别人看到你的王牌并找出反击的手段

而太迟又不好，会错失良机
但是若果能够在不出王牌的状况下得胜就不需要出王牌
因为王牌是不可以漏眼的

最好的时机是得胜的时机将近的时候
务求一击即中，一举将对手打击至不能反败为胜的境界

总之，时机的拿捏要胆大心细，明察秋毫

３－策略
策略的运用是很重要的
在上场的时候需要善于利用把一切对自己有利的优势
其中包括了对我方和敌方的心理战略

不同的对手要有不同的应负方式
尽量封杀和避免对方的长项
而集中火力攻击对方的短处

避实就虚，打击要害，以己之长攻彼之短

４－掌握状况
对于战果的掌握是制胜的必要关键
所以一个武者绝不可以把视线移开自己的对手

除了具体的战况，抽象的战况也需要抓好
比如说对方的体力，对方的心理状况
对方所害怕的事情，对方很可能想做的事情

掌握了战况，就懂得如何作战

５－多想一步
对战不是个单靠肌肉的运动
也需知对手也不是个没脑的笨蛋

你会想，你也必须想到对方也会想
对方每时每刻想的都是打倒你的手段
而你也同时想着如何在不被他打倒的情况下反击并打倒对方

在这斗智又斗勇的比试中
你必须看破对方的策略，截对方的＂意＂，预测下一秒的战况
比对方多想一步，把握未来的战况和＂地利＂
和对方抢夺和占领优势

然后在一边战斗一边为下一秒的战况铺路
同时兼顾现在和未来的战局

＂IF U FAIL TO PLAN，YOU PLAN TO FAIL。＂
计划未来是制胜的捷径，抢得到优势等于赢了一半

Best Friends, Dream Girl and What-a-man-gotta-do

i am kinda in the "holiday mood" here, today (16 may) i finished the French's final exam, and going to have a 5 days break before the next exam at monday,

after the exam, my gang and i, Mat and Johani went to "yamcha"
as usual, we had a very chemistry conversation ~____________~
Mat will be always be the narrator kind of guy, Johani will be saying something which is not funny but making all of us laugh :D, and me, will be as usuall, telling suggestive jokes. XD
we had a great time just by chatting and hanging out

and then, after a nap
i hang out with Peter and his roommate, Maxii
and we watched the movie "16 blocks"
we have a chat and i went back to my room and slept at 7am morning

i wonder how would next semester be like? Peter would not be in hostel then. Most of my classmates is graduating. and i stuck here with one more extension of semester :(

life is life
there is many things i wanted to do but i am still stuck in study
there is many things i want, but i can't have it : (
but nevermind lah, life is life : D

a-腰马合一
出击会配合步伐和腰马
步伐，腰马，肩膀和手都有发劲

b-劲路
劲路的话，先把精力放在速度上，在接触目标的时候把爆发力和破坏力释放出来

c-闪避的身法

身法也运用在闪躲，预先远离，适时避开，保持适当距离，打击动作和其他情况，在出招的时候身体的摆动可以用来化解和预防对方的招式
闪避的时候头部必须以劲项作平衡，就象猎豹跑步时，腰椎骨和脚动地很厉害，但是头部没有丝毫动摇

2-心理素质
a-＂形神兼备＂
出招的时候，要有神
要知道自己在做什么
要知道自己要做什么

不是被招式控制，被套路牵着鼻子走
要有自己的念头，＂意＂，和＂神＂
攻击要有攻击的念头（比如说凶猛）
防卫要有防卫的念头（比如说谨慎）

b-"快, 准, 狠"
使用者的MIND SET（心理素质）要敢敢出招，才能发挥拳的效果
另外，要达到"快, 准, 狠"的境界
快－反应要快，出招不拖泥带水，续招毫不迟疑。
准－出招准确，打击目标要准，而且要对准要害来打。
狠－狠狠得打，一招接一招，连贯而下，不留余地得打击对手。

3-要诀
a-"攻击是最好的防卫，反击是最好的攻击"
要练到＂不需要退＂的境界
别人出招便立刻反击
与对方抢先机和优势

b-三定三快
螳螂拳准备作战时要三定，＂眼定，心定，站定＂
出手时要三快：＂手快，步快，腿快＂

对打时要和对方斗快，斗耐力，斗准确性，斗狠，斗技术

d-交换攻击
如果给对方打了一拳，便立即反攻他几拳（但交换拳头要交换得值得）
但是交换攻击的时候要知道哪里能被打

e-声东击西

“打下取上，取上削下”, “声东击西，欲往东走，先往西去”

从各个方向袭击，让对方防不胜防，顾此失彼

Ok, back when I was in primary school and secondary school student, I used to had my hair cut in the classic Indian Barber shop where you can usually find in town. With those red,white and blue roller thing outside the shop, its pretty easy to spot one. As u might know, they cut your hair without question asked. They would just assume you want your hair cut like everyone else.

Nowadays, I being introduced to a friend of mine, Dino who running a saloon. I like the service his offer and I patron his service. The thing I like about hair stylist is, they listen to my opinion and request. Sometimes I can even enquire information about styles while Dino gives some recommendation to me.

Special request like trimming the hair or even the length of the front part of the hair are all responded and executed nicely. Detail customization like: whether how long I want to keep my side burn is all taken into consideration.

Some times cross selling to your customer might sound a bit business minded, but for me, I like myself to be exposed to extra information. I don’t find products offer annoying, offers like styling gel and special hair treatment is worth a try because who know I might try some day.

And as I visit Dino's place often and we knew each other more, I get special a special shoulder massage as a value adding service. And that’s the reason why I switched from the cheaper barber hair cut service. Customization is important especially in service.

In Search Of Teh Tarik 3

For the next Destination, I was planning to try Starbucks’ version of Teh Tarik too, to compare with Strudell’s Vanilla The Tarik. But I am really over budget… and then I decided to stop by Carefour Subang Jaya before I head home.

The food court is name Cili Padi, sounds very local. And the first food stall, In Kopitiam is my favourite. It reminds me of Ipoh style of Kopitiam. I ordered a Teh Tarik to compare with Strudell’s Vanilla The Tarik.

I approached the counter and start to order.

“Kak, Teh Tarik satu?” *one Teh Tarik please?*

“Takde Teh Tarik lah. Tak boleh tarik lah” *there’s no Teh Tarik, we can’t do Teh Tarik here*

“Oh… Takde ke? Ada Teh biasa tak?” *Oh, seriously? Do you have normal Milk Tea?*

“Ade. Nak makan ape-ape ke?” *yes, we have it. What do you want to eat?*

“Tak, tak, itu saje.” *nope, that’s all*

The best part of In Kopitiamis their efficiency. Their kitchen is well organized and therefore preparing the food/drink is quick. The serving speed of In Kopitiamis slightly faster than Strudell, maybe because of the kitchen of In Kopitiam is busier than Strudell. In Kopitiam have a nice and friendly serving attitude.

This is the “Teh Biasa” I ordered. They let the customer enjoy their sweet time stirring the milk inside the tea (I love doing that). And the Tea from In Kopitiamis much more milkier than Strudell (I believe they added fresh milk into it). Although no Vanilla flavour is in the Tea but the taste of the Teh is much more richer compare to Strudell.

Good product, nice service with a reasonable price. I will definitely come again.

Now, I am in Strudel because of Strudell's good advertising skills and most of all, Chicken Rice Shop’s poor service.

I have a good first impression on Strudell. Strudell have nice interior design and have a great atmosphere. Strudell using the self service style to let the customer serve their own self. Giving freedom to customer to browse around, instead having a salesperson to stare at you the whole time. I like the freedom they give and taking my own sweet time browsing. And they left me alone to take pictures on the cakes and stuffs giving me enough freedom to browse and take my sweet time.

Ok, now that I decided to order, “Excuse me?”

The waiter quickly responds, I was impressed because I need not to wait.

“Yes, Sir. How may I help you sir?” said the waiter. I was amaze by the warm welcome.

“Errr... One Vanilla Tea please?”

“Oh… Did you mean by Vanilla Teh Tarik?”

And I think. “Oh, was it Teh Tarik? It was on the banner.”

“Yup, it is. Coming right up. Please have a seat while you wait, sir.”

The Vanilla Teh Tarik took only a while to finish. And I took some picture before my first sip. The taste of the Tea was not strong (maybe the water was too hot when brewing). But the Vanilla flavor is the main focus of the tea, the Vanilla flavour matches with the Teh Tarik nicely, making the drink tastes richer than ordinary Teh Tarik.

I take a look on the interior design of Strudell. They have nice, cozy design to present a relax and comfotable atmosphere. There also a sofa for customer to sit and relax.
One thing I like the most of the environment is their lighting. Their lighting is cozy inside and outside u can get some nice sun light. And the air conditioning is not bad too. Even though the Tea might not taste like what I expected but I had enjoyed my time finishing the Vanilla Tea.

Conclusion, good service makes customer happy.

In Search Of Teh Tarik 1

I was in KL Central, i was thinking that maybe I could write a blog for Service Marketing’s blog. It was a long day, I was tired and thirsty and I was just want to find some place where I can get some refreshment and rest. Then these banners caught my attention.

I browsed the menu and I found something that I like - “Vanilla Tea”, it sounds nice. And I think to myself: “I never knew that The Chicken Rice Shop offer such a variety of drinks, impressive…”

And then… standing in front of The Chicken Rice Shop, I waited for them to approach me. But they seem to be very busy at the moment. I waited for about 3 minutes.

Then I decided to take more pictures… “Please allow us to seat you” hmmmm… the company’s service scripting is good but the service lacks implementation. They seems as if they are ignoring me or something. I guess I will just make it Strike 1 for now.

Ok, now that I am finally being escorted into the shop. I take a look around of the interior design. The shop is having a traditional kopitiam look. But, It is a little warm and humid inside. To make it worst the air is oily. They certainly needs to improve on the air conditioning. To make it worst, the renovation of the shop is full of warmth color (Yellow paint with yellow light).

I ordered “Vanilla Tea” but the waiter told me

Waiter: “Nope, errr… ah… we don’t have that.”

Me: “But I pretty sure that I saw it written on the banner.”

Waiter: “Nope, I am sure, ah… we don’t have that.”

Me: “Hey, I just saw that outside...” I beginning to lose my patient… arguing with your customer, huh? And I am getting really confused… and suddenly he left me unseated to the cash registry. and i guess that's Strike 2

I went outside and I lead him to the banner “This.” I said

After a few second pause, he says: “Ah… Strudel…”

Me: “What?”

Waiter: “This is Strudel…”

Me: “What do you mean?” I really can’t understand his English. This is getting too long! Just give me the thing I ordered!

Waiter: “The shop next door.”

Me: “You mean that this banner here belongs to the shop next door?”

Waiter: “Yes…”

I am getting really frustrated because of all these confusion. And I am still tired and hungry, I just want to sit down and relax.

Waiter: “So…” the waiter cut in and say,“Do you still want the Tea?”

Based on his tone, he say as if I am not their potential customer. For me, it sounded like "So, you want to go to next door instead?"

And very well, that’s it, Strike 3

“No, thank you.” I replied. I am not going to pay with this kind of service. Especially with serve by this type of waiter.

i like to develope techniques on things that i do
for example: drawing, games and other philosophy

today keen came over my place and we played fighting games together
we played Puzzle Fighter, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and King Of Fighter 2003 together

as i playing i felt that fighting with human opponent is harder than AI and more fun to play with.
then i have a few idea on how to improve my fighting skills

1- "be caution and prepare for anything"
always expect ur opponent will fight back,
for example, in Street Fighter Alpha 2: jump while holding lower block, and launch ur attack only when u sure that it will hit ur opponent (flying kick or punch)

2- "think a step forward"
u won't be too fast for ur opponent, they can always catch up with u
to overcome ur opponent, think ahead of them and plan further
thus, ur opponent will have harder time catching up with u

3- "action should always follow by another action; and all action should not be meaningless."
actions like defense, offense, keeping distance, even watching and teasing ur opponent is considered an action
every action should be used to achieve what u plan to do, whether u want to lure opponent or making them to think in a particular manner

there should not be any wasted movement or mistake when u are in a fight

and most commonly used and practical would be switching from defense to offense quickly
as if the counter attacks were reflected and launch back to the opponent
this idea i borrowed from "mantis boxing" where in between techniques should have minimum gap

some friends i know, think i laugh to much (sometimes)
and laugh too easily for those not-so-funny jokes

but in contrast, i always prefer to come out with "lame jokes"
which tries to make people laugh solely because of the lameness of the joke

yesterday, i cant get into the house and end up sleeping at friend's house
the floor is very hard, my shoulder doesn't feel very good
today, one of my mentor, Dr Mohan is decided to leave MMU, kinda sad, will missed him though, he is going to Notting Ham in semenyir. He shaked my hand and not letting it go, before telling me that he wished that i can get myself a good grade.
other than that, i plan to do work, but ended up playing UNO STACKO in friend's house >_____<

i was playing Megaman X8 and i get a hunter rank AAA after clearing a stage named Troia Base where it is a training base for Maverick Hunter to test their skill. Basically i like the idea "Maverick Hunter training" in the game, from Megaman X5 they have a pre-game tutorial where u can know the mechanism of the game before start hitting on the boss.

there are various of things u can learnt about Maverick Hunting. i usually emphasize 2 things in Maverick Hunting. XD defense and offense, u need to survive in order to kill the enemy
defense:- how to survive from enemy's attack? dodge them. always try to survive an attack. Jump over or dash under the attack opposing u. always find a way out for urself. blast at obstacle to open a way if u have to. even when u attack, try not to jump against an enemy which will cause u damage when u intercept with them, always try to survive. "the longer u survive, the lesser chance for ur opponent to win."

offense:- keep a shortest safe distance to attack ur enemy. the farther u r from the enemy, the safer u r. the closer u r to the enemy, the easier u getting to hit on them. therefore, u need to balance on how far u want to keep distance from the enemy. keep urself as far as possible while ur atack still can land on ur enemy.

other guidelines:
1- always cautious and conscious on what happen around u, and then plan what happen. act spontaniously and follow ur gut-feeling, if u do, u will find always urself getting through it.

2- when u r disadvantage and almost lose, don't bother thinking about u r losing and "try again next turn". if u have time for thinking calculating the chance u will lost, u will lose the time winning. fight as if there is no next turn! fight ur opponent until the last drop of hp u left. who knows if u can win ur opponent by a drop of hp? the winning is still winning

3- use the surroundings to get u advantage. for example: in Megaman series u can jump against the wall, kick it, and jump higher. u can make use of this triangle-jump technique to dodge enemy's attack(and some homing attack).

4- don't corner urself, don't stay at the corner and left u no place to hide. but, u can corner urself and let ur back stick to the wall to reduce the chance of being hit. instead of standing on an open space, u r open for attack from left, right or up direction; when u stick ur back on the wall, u will only to face enemy from front and above. reducing the atack rate for 1/3. also work for opponent that have unpredictable attacks, shut one of their attack route and keep on fighting.

5- when ur opponent is hidden and left u alone in the stage, what will u do? ur opponent is hidden and u cannot think of hitting them in anyway. u should walk around and ready to dodge for sudden atack. walk around so that u wont stuck on their homing attack that easily(instead of being a sitting duck). at the same time, keep an eye on ur opponent when they appear.

6- always dodge last minute, and only dodge when the attack is coming at u. what about homing attacks? whenever u r being aimed, dodge last minutes before u being hit. why last minute? if u weren't ur enemy will follow ur track and aims at u, running around will still have the attack lock onto u. and for most situation, it is always better if u stay put and decide on what to do. if u are being attack, dodge!

recently, my housemate: lih hern introduced me international chess and how to play it. it is surprisingly easy to play and fun. beginner like me can defense against lih hern more than 20 minute before i losed. XD it is fun though, with the combination and collaboration of few chess and technique, the king has no where to run and ended up being check.

what will happen to the King after being checked XD that is, the King will have no life! XD surviving is the main purpose of the King while the purpose of the player is winning. what happens when the player loses? what should he do?

my motto is always been struggle till the end, never give up. but, when it's the end, then it is the end. i will just move on, play another game and hoping that this time u can win by trying.

same goes to the Zombie in those shooting game, i use House Of The Dead as an example. i have seen my friend playing it, he is very good, but often gets hurt by the zombie when he devastates the whole upper part of the zombie but it still coming after him. it is scary and annoying at the same time when u successfully killed the zombie and it refuses to die. maybe zombies has too much pride, do they? =/

accepting the fact that i have lost is one of the important step in life :)
i want to stay alive and have life, rather than taking the zombie's lifestyle :P

Nowadays in internet mesenger like Yahoo Mesenger, we use more quick and convenient language.
Thus, the culture of shortform is getting more popular.

Usually we would ask "hello? are you there?",
that would be too formal and troublesome.
Come on, cut the crap; be more casual and direct!
Like: "hey, you there?".
Sounds better right?

Maybe the word "hey" is just not yourself... :-?
Here's a more general one which fits most people:"r u there?".
Notice the "are" being changed to "r" and "you" is just plain o' "u"
This is totally ok, normal and common in Internet mesenging!!
Your friends will understand~ No worries!

But, can it be shorten? Once more?
Let me try, change "there" into "thr"...
and VOILA!!!
Now u have "r u thr?"
This is what i call short form!!

Wait, you saying that it still can be shorten?
Yes, u're right!
By throw away the "r"
You can just say "u thr?"
And the meaning of the sentence is still the same!!
Man, you learning quick!!

And some people even go extra miles in mastering the art of short form.
They just say "thr?",
which originally means "hey, i wonder if you are there? i want to talk to you."
Yea, and don't worry that others don't understand that, it's their fault by not catching up.
So, it's alright to join in the band wagon of typing short form

Some people who practise more efficient time management would brilliantly use the Buzz function in Yahoo Mesenger.
The shortcut key is pressing Ctrl + G
Doing so, it will send out a buzz which sounds like a door bell to ur recipient.
Technical speaking, this is much more efficient than asking "thr?" which we had short formed so far.
Buzzing only requires u to press 2 button; while typing "thr?" needs to type 5 keys including enter to send.

Don't worry that u are not being polite that buzzing people out of no where and expecting people to respond to you.
Everyone does that! just join the band wagon and save time!

just now i saw my friend: Jo Anne brought her Dog to a restaurant along to eat.
the Dog's name is Julie, Shih Tzu breed. very cute and obedient.

how obedient u might ask, she was put in a bag (yes, bag) and being drive from Penang to Cyberjaya, and she never runs around. Not bad for a 3 months old Dog eh?

although her legs still arent strong enough, and she wouldnt dare to jump down from someone's lap. and we couldnt be sure how is it when she grows older.

i felt that i have some split personality in me since few years ago
but, its nothing like Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde i still remembers what i am doing and such
my memories will be still there, just that the way and style of doing things would be slightly different

i noticed it because back in those days when i draw everyday, sometimes i am in a groove of Gothic style, another time i am good at Model style, Clean style and Mysterious Magical style...

switching in those personality makes me stay in the best shape of myself in maths, logic, drawing or reasoning... etc
but then, switching through these personality is unpredictable.
and i havent figured out a way to stay at the groove or "summon" it out for competitive advantage.

maybe i would be able to write a book if i would found out the way to inter-switch the personality among myself.
by the way, i am in a down mood which not motivated and feel like beating up something.
